Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your 509 Connection account and the data associated with it. 509 Connection is operated by the 509 Connection team. If you have any trouble, email us at team@509connection.com and we'll handle it for you.
1. Delete your account from the app
The fastest way is right inside the app:
- Open 509 Connection and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your profile is removed from discovery immediately.
2. Or request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email team@509connection.com from the email address on your account (or include it) with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify your request and delete your account on your behalf.
3. What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data after a short grace period (about 30 days), including:
- Your profile (name, date of birth, gender, orientation, bio, prompts, interests, height, work, city, and location).
- Your photos.
- Your matches, likes, and chat messages.
- Your settings and push-notification tokens.
- Your account login (authentication record).
Your profile is hidden from other users immediately on request; the 30-day grace period lets you change your mind by contacting us before the data is purged.
4. Deleting some data without closing your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove certain data. In the app you can edit or remove your photos, bio, prompts, and other profile details at any time from Edit profile. To request deletion of specific data (for example, activity history) without deleting your account, email team@509connection.com.
5. Data we may keep
We may retain a limited amount of information for longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to prevent fraud and abuse (for example, records of a banned account). We do not keep your photos, bio, or messages beyond the purge described above.
6. Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. To cancel Gold, open the Google Play Store → Subscriptions on your device before or after deleting your account.
